Big Game Fishing at its Best!
Adventure out to sea with us for a fun day of fishing on the legendary Sea Baby III. The boat has a proven history of being a top producer when it comes to Big Game Fishing. The Sea Baby III is a 35’ custom Funai Sportfisher and was specifically built to catch monster fish! The boat is comfortable, clean, fast and very maneuverable. Captains and Crews worldwide agree that the Sea Baby III is the perfect Game Boat.
Our catch includes Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Ahi, Ono, Mahi Mahi, Shortnose Spearfish, Yellowfin Tuna and Skipjack Tuna.
The boat’s largest fish caught is a 1,195 pound Blue Marlin! Catch a bigger fish and the trip is on the house!
KAILUA KONA
Five Volcanoes ascend from the sea floor depths of 18,000 feet to form The Big Island of Hawaii! The two largest volcanoes, Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, are another 13,700 feet from sea level and create giant wind shields for the Kona Coast. It is often breezy around the Hawaiian Islands, yet there are 40 miles of coastline on the west side of the Big Island that are typically calm, thanks to our Maunas.
Leaving the Honokohau Harbor, we will enter the fishing grounds immediately. This is a huge advantage of fishing off the coast of the Big Island. Most Big Game fisheries around the world require an average 40 mile run to get to the pelagic zone and much of the fishing day is consumed by the time it takes to reach that zone.
Once lines are in the water, we are fishing for the largest Game Fish to roam the planet. Hawaii claims the largest Blue Marlin in the World and is home to many World Records. While your odds of a big Marlin are more favorable than any other location in the Pacific Ocean, this doesn’t mean that’s all we are trying to catch! We are always prepared for the Blue, but you never know what type of fish will strike. You will notice all of the boats fishing heavy tackle for this reason.
